Welcome to the second installment of my newsletter. Please give yourself the gift of a few moments to explore, have fun with the information here, and take a minute to read the Forbes article that I have included below.
Across the US, who would have thought we would be entering our fourth month of a global pandemic? How the world has changed in such a short time! If we had not been on lockdown, I would be sharing beautiful pictures of our fabulous trip to Italy and Greece. I would be talking about the fabulous food and wine in the Piemonte region of Italy, and the beauty and variety across the many Greek Isles that we just enjoyed. I would be sharing the pictures of our fabulous group that shared this adventure on the Celebrity Edge. Alas, that trip will wait for another time. I know that we will be taking this trip as soon as the time is right! In the meantime, I am here to help you dream and plan your next trip.
Some are still dreaming, and some are ready to get out there and travel to anywhere where we can go safely. I know that many of you are in the habit of booking local trips on your own.
However, given the problems that many people had with cancellations, vouchers, refunds and hours upon hours on the phone to resolve, I would urge you to consider calling me for your domestic travel too. Forbes had an insightful article last month on the value that I can add as your travel agent, now and post-pandemic. The article address many of the things that Seymour & Associates Travel always does for our travelers but have become increasingly important with the new “rules” of travel. It is a short but very interesting read. You can check it out here.
I hope that you, your family and friends are all healthy and safe. And, maybe you have even found something new that gives you joy during this unique time in our lives.
