- Escape to a Country Cottage - Check into a country cottage inn, an English manor, or even a castle to experience British culture and tradition at its best. Wander the gorgeous English gardens in bloom before high tea at 4 pm. You might try your hand at lawn bowls before dinner or have a pint of ale at the bar.
The Heartbeat of England
Music, dance, and performing arts are strong in England. Wherever you go, you are bound to see all kinds of impressive acts, from traditional folk music to modern rock. You can enjoy the theatre, ballet, orchestra, and other world-class shows in the major cities, while in smaller towns and villages, you might catch a live band or stand-up comedian at a local pub.

Since it is part of the UK along with Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, it can be hard to distinguish British Culture as it spreads throughout to the surrounding countries as well.
